New PVA650 Platform, Updated Valve Line Unveiled
PVA has introduced a next generation PVA650
platform featuring an onboard PC for unlimited program storage, enhanced
process control capability, and a sleek front door hatch design for added
accessibility. The PVA650 platform, a robust sheet metal framed robot,
has been in the PVA product line since 2003. Approximately 1000 units
are in service worldwide. PVA has been developing the PC interface for
the PVA650 for over a year.
In conjunction with the release of the new PVA650 platform, PVA has also
introduced an upgraded series of valves that feature micrometer flow
adjustment for added process reliability. The FCS300-ES, FCS300, and
FC100-MC all feature micrometer flow adjust and integrated standoffs for
added durability. The FCS300-ES offers a narrow oval-shaped spray
pattern and is an improvement over the original FCS100-ES. The FCS300
provides for oval or fan-shaped patterns and is the next generation of the
FCS100 series of valves. The FC100-MC is the latest version of the
original FC100 dispensing valve.

PVA Launches New Web
Presence
PVA, the
market leader in automated dispensing and selective coating technology, has
launched a new web presence at www.pva.net.
Visitors will now have access to an expanded PVA product library, a
diverse collection of application videos, and local service contact
information.
“We’re very
excited about the new website launch and have been receiving great feedback from our
visitors thus far,” said Frank Hart,
Director of Marketing for PVA.
“Our customers are certainly internet savvy and expect the web to contain
the information they need, when they need it.
PVA’s new web presence better represents the breadth of solutions we
can bring to our customers.”
The new web
page represents three months of initial development in improving the look,
navigation, and content.
Products, data sheets, and application videos are categorized by process to
allow quick navigation to the desired information.
A global map allows visitors to select their location and immediately
retrieve the local service contact available 24/7.
Other features of the web site include a password protected sub-site
that will allow customers to immediately download files posted from PVA’s
service department and applications lab.
“Aside from
the inherent benefits of improved content, the real key here is the speed in
which we can transfer information,” added Hart.
“This new web format allows us to respond to our customer’s needs
faster than ever before. We also
look forward to releasing additional phases of the web site through 2008
that will continue to expand PVA’s position as the pioneer of dispensing and
coating technology.”
