PVA Launches Automated Frame Sealant Applicator

PVA is pleased to launch the new PVA900 Automated Frame Sealant Applicator at SNEC PV Power 2012. The PVA900 expands PVA's product offering to automate the solar assembly process and make it more efficient. The system will be showcased in the booth of local representative, Schmidt (booth no. E1 670-675).

The PVA900 applies one and two component sealants to solar PV module frames and delivers an accurate and repeatable bead dispense process that allows shorter cycle times. Designed to improve process workflow, the PVA900 is a higher performance, more cost effective option than tape solutions.

For flexibility, the beginning and end of the extrusion are automatically detected allowing any length to be fed through the machine and the PVA900 is easily adjustable to accommodate a variety of frame profiles.

PVA systems are used in numerous solar assembly applications to ensure reliable products including; solder paste dispense, frame sealing, rail bonding, junction box potting & attachment, thin film backside coating, dispensing electrical connection sealant/grease, liquid cell encapsulation and more.
