    PVA is aggressively hiring in Production to meet increased demand for our products! The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling a specific portion of the Standard Line (Direct Series) of robotic manufacturing equipment per instructions and guide books. This position ensures that product is assembled correctly and shipped on time. Hours for this position are 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday – Friday. Starting pay is $16-$22 per hour. There are many opportunities for growth and advancement!

    Responsibilities

    • Reads and interprets electrical drawings and schematics for their value stream.
    • Completes assigned step in manufacturing process for standard line of equipment (Direct Series).
    • Ensures that goals and expectations are met, and product is being developed on schedule.
    • Ensures equipment is in optimum working order and brings issues to supervisors’ attention within one hour when aware of machine interruption.
    • Maintains confidentiality of customer information, 100% of the time.
    • Keeps a neat and organized work station for safety and efficiency, 100% of the time.

  • CNC Operator, 2nd Shift

    PVA is adding to our 2nd shift team! The CNC Operator, 2nd Shift is responsible for machining parts utilizing CNC mills. Hours for this position are 2:00 pm – 2:00 am Monday-Wednesday, work 36 hours but paid for 40. Starting pay is $18-$25 per hour depending on experience. This position requires onsite presence in Halfmoon, NY.

    Responsibilities

    • Creates parts and follows procedures and instructions to meet customer expectations.
    • Reads and interprets mechanical schematics to ensure accuracy.
    • Sets up tooling equipment, loads parts, reviews programming steps, and ensures adherence to quality standards and specifications.
    • Responsible for performing first piece inspections on machined parts.
    • Maintain industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.
    • Calculate dimensions or tolerances, using instruments such as micrometers or vernier calipers.
    • Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
    • Maintain a clean and neat work area.

  • PLC Software Engineer

    PVA is adding to our Software Development team! The PLC Software Engineer designs, implements, and debugs software on motion control and PLC platforms used in the machinery and products sold by Precision Valve Automation – PVA. Systems include curing ovens (UV & Infrared), part handling platforms, meter mix, and fluid dispensing applications, among others. Development will include standard, custom, and engineered to order products. This position ensures software is designed correctly so that products are delivered within customer requirements, budget, and timeframe, which ultimately impacts the revenue and long-term profitability of the company. Hours for this role are 7:00 am – 4:00 pm or 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday-Friday. Starting pay is between $65,000-$85,000 per year depending on experience. This position requires onsite presence in Halfmoon, NY.

    Responsibilities

    • Manages PLC software development projects.
    • Maintains system software specifications and documentation.
    • Designs, debugs, and develops PLC software.
    • Manages PLC software lifecycle.
    • Maintains the entire PLC software code base for Product Development.
    • Provides input and feedback on system design as needed.
    • Assists with mechanical/electrical debug of prototype systems.
    • Designs and develops software applications to include; methodology, structure, and interface for new software/workflow, coding, debugging, and documentation.
    • Identifies development environment for existing and next generation software development.

This position ensures that the product is designed correctly, and within customer requirements, budget, and timeframe. Hours for this role are 7:00 am – 4:00 pm or 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday-Friday. Starting pay is $60,000-$85,000 per year depending on experience. This position requires onsite presence in Halfmoon, NY.

    Responsibilities

    • Designs and develops machine documents and submits models to CAD group to create diagrams and generate full bill for parts.
    • Review sales orders and interprets engineering needs to deliver an on-time, complete, and accurate design and documentation package.
    • Monitors project to ensure that goals and customer expectations are met, and product is developed on schedule.
    • Facilitates project kick-off meeting.
    • Coordinates with other departments to develop project schedule.

  • Service Technician

    PVA is adding to our in-house Service team! The Service Technician prepares and tests machines to ensure a successful customer visit. This position helps customers maximize value of products from pre shipment through end of life. This position requires onsite presence in Halfmoon, NY. Starting pay is between $22-$28 per hour depending on experience.  This position includes some travel and includes a training period, duration is dependent on existing knowledge and skill level.

    Responsibilities

    • Maintain expert level technical knowledge of PVA product line.
    • Answers direct questions and resolves issues from customers.
    • Solves problems, diagnoses and resolves issues to ensure customer needs are met.
    • Manages and updates individual service tickets throughout the day to identify any urgent customer needs.
    • Ensures equipment is working properly prior to shipment to meet customer expectations.
    • Assists customer’s with process improvement and optimization.
    • Maintains confidentiality of customer information, 100% of the time.
    • Attends team reviews as required to share information, review schedules and projects.
    • Discerns whether issues are warranty related or at the customer’s expense.
    • Fosters strong customer relationships through onsite visit, and after shipment service and installations as required.
    • Provides feedback regarding manual updates to ensure they are up to date and relevant to customer needs.
    • Leads, assists and supports team members when performing runoff, installation, rework installation, or onsite service.
