    Responsibilities

    The Valve Technician is responsible for assembling fluid dispensing valve technology per instructions and guide books. This position ensures that product is assembled correctly and shipped on time. Hours for this position are 7:00 am – 3:30 pm 5 days/week or 6:00 am – 4:30 pm 4 days/week (weekdays only). Starting pay is $16-$18 per hour. There are many opportunities for growth and advancement! This position requires onsite presence in Halfmoon, NY.

    Responsibilities

    • Reads and interprets electrical and mechanical schematics to assemble components.

    • Train with materials on equipment that is currently running off or filled with material.

    Responsibilities

    • Reads and interprets electrical drawings and schematics for their value stream.
    • Builds wire kits, cables, assemblies, panels and enclosures and integrates machines following procedure and instructions to meet customer expectations.
    • Ensure electrical safety is observed and practiced and proper PPE worn, 100% of the time.
    • Ensures that goals and expectations are met, and product is being developed on schedule

    The Pre-Build/Assembly Technician is responsible for starting the manufacturing process for robotic equipment per instructions and guide books. This position ensures that product is assembled correctly and shipped on time. Hours for this position are 7:00 am – 3:30 pm 5 days/week or 6:00 am – 4:30 pm 4 days/week (weekdays only). Starting pay is $16-$18 per hour. There are many opportunities for growth and advancement! This position requires onsite presence in Halfmoon, NY.

  • Buyer

    The Buyer purchases and procures items used to build machinery and for facilities services for Precision Valve Automation – PVA. This position is critical to PVA; the Buyer ensures all parts are available so that machines are delivered to customers on time at the best price, quality, and according to terms and conditions which impacts the revenue and long-term profitability of the company. This position requires onsite presence in Halfmoon, NY.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensures parts are ordered and available when needed, escalating if “promise date” is not met.
    • Reviews purchase orders and ensures promise dates are complete and accurate.
    • Provides forecast levels to suppliers to ensure inventory is available.
    • Identifies and negotiates price, availability, and discounts for contracts and parts.
    • Reports lead time issues to supervisor to proactively plans alternate strategies.
    • Updates part records with price/supplier changes.
    • Reviews sales reports and history to inform purchasing decisions.
    • Reviews bin sizes and quantities to ensure they support business needs.
    • Identifies potential vendors and qualifies goods and services based on pricing, quality, and delivery timeframes.
    • Utilizes vendor scorecard.
    • Ensures Kanban system is used and maintained and that issues are brought to the attention of the supervisor.

  • Marketing Communications Coordinator

    The Marketing Communications Coordinator acts as the communication funnel for external customers and internal team members of Precision Valve Automation – PVA. This position is critical to PVA; the Marketing Communications Coordinator works independently in conjunction with the Marketing Communications Manager and Sales & Marketing Director to ensure all marketing, social media, trade shows, and website marketing are executed. This position requires onsite presence in Halfmoon, NY.

    Responsibilities

    • Assists in the planning and creation of the social media content calendar.
    • Creates graphic support for social media, posters, promotional advertising, collateral and other partner companies.
    • Posts to social media accounts (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook).
    • Updates company website with information, events, press releases, job postings, maintenance, etc.
    • Assists in collaborating with PR and digital marketing firms to identify goals, track analytics, and ensures timely execution of deliverables.
    • Partners with internal departments to create data sheets and include in marketing materials.
    • Takes photos of products, edits, and includes in marketing collateral.
    • Assists in the planning of the annual trade show calendar, with annual budget.
    • Assists in planning events and trade shows, including booth design and collateral, shipping necessary product, orders, and travel arrangements for 3-5 shows per year.
    • Provides support to regional managers with collateral for regional events.
    • Orders business cards for employees.
