Job Description: The Customer Success Engineer (Automation) plays a pivotal role in delivering technical expertise and field support for PVA systems and automated dispensing products. Covering the entire product lifecycle—from pre-shipment testing and configuration to installation support, troubleshooting, upgrades, and end-of-life decommissioning, this role is integral to optimizing customer outcomes and system performance. This position is not only the technical face of PVA but also a key driver of customer satisfaction, retention, and overall product value. By ensuring customers achieve consistent uptime and optimal performance, the Technical Customer Training and Test Engineer contributes directly to PVA’s revenue growth, brand reputation, and long-term profitability.

Job Details:

  • 8:00 am – 5:00 pm/7:00 am – 4:00 pm Monday-Friday (1st shift)
  • Starting pay $25.00 – $33.00 per hour depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepares equipment for in-person or virtual product demonstration (runoff).
  • Ensures equipment is working according to the customer expectations prior to customer visit or virtual demonstration.
  • Diagnoses and resolves technical issues involving hardware, software, and system integration to ensure the customer’s needs are met.
  • Delivers hands-on operator and maintenance training tailored to customer needs.
  • Provides technical guidance on best practices for system operation, maintenance, and performance optimization.
  • Addresses unexpected issues with prompt, effective solutions.
  • Serves as a trusted technical advisor, building long-term relationships and supporting repeat business.

Job Description: The Embedded Systems Programmer is responsible for developing and maintaining the software that drives PVA’s advanced manufacturing robotics. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that our machines are programmed accurately, function reliably, and meet customer specifications. Job Details:

  • 7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday-Friday (1st shift)
  • Starting pay $55,640 – $60,000 annually depending on experience

Job Responsibilities:

  • Programs manufacturing robotics using multiple programming languages, following established procedures and instructions to meet customer expectations.
  • Completes programming within specified timeframes, considering the complexity and uniqueness of each machine, to ensure goals and expectations are met.
  • Sets up PCs within specified timeframes, based on the complexity and uniqueness of each machine.
  • Reads and interprets mechanical/electrical schematics to verify accuracy.
  • Ensures the product is created according to specification, based on instructions and job tracker, with up to 99% quality.
  • Utilizes internal tools to communicate issues or delays during the programming process in real time.
  • Ensures equipment remains in optimum working order, and reports any machine interruptions to team leader within one hour of detection.
  • Interacts with customers within the value stream or supports other value streams as needed.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all customer information.
  • Keeps a neat and organized workstation to promote safety and efficiency.

Job Description: The Field Service Technician provides technical service for PVA’s advanced manufacturing robotics. This position helps customers maximize value of products from pre shipment through end of life. The ideal candidate for this role will have mechanical aptitude with excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills. This position is based in our Halfmoon, NY office and requires frequent travel.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides onsite support and installations at customer locations.

Job Description: The Laborer/Shop Technician is responsible for operating the Timesavers/Lissmac machine to deburr and finish sheet metal parts. This position also operates the PemSerter machine. This machine installs threaded fasteners to the sheet metal for attachment points to assemble the systems and products sold by PVA.

  • 6:00 am – 2:30 pm Monday-Friday (1st shift)
  • Starting pay is $17.00 – $21.00 per hour depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operates Timesavers/Lissmac machine to deburr and finish sheet metal parts.
  • Ensures all part edges are smooth to move on to the next step in the manufacturing process.
  • Operate PemSerter attaching threaded components to sheet metal.
  • Help in the weld, paint, and brake departments when needed.
  • Ensures that goals and expectations are met, and product is developed on schedule.
  • Ensures equipment is in optimum working order and brings issues to team leaders’ attention within one hour when aware of machine interruption.

Job Description:The Project Engineer (Mechanical) is responsible for innovating and designing custom robotic machines sold by PVA. This position follows machines from design through shipment and ensures customer satisfaction via design, requirements and budget alignment, and timeframe.

  • 7:00 am – 4:00 pm or 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday-Friday (1st shift)
  • Starting pay is $75,000 – $100,000 per year depending on experience
  • Onsite 5 days/week in Halfmoon, NY

Job Responsibilities:

  • Designs and develops machine documents and submits models to CAD group to create diagrams and generate full bill for parts.
  • Review sales orders and interprets engineering needs to deliver an on-time, complete, and accurate design and documentation package.
  • Monitors project to ensure that goals and customer expectations are met, and product is developed on schedule.
  • Facilitates project kick-off meeting.
  • Coordinates with other departments to develop project schedule.
  • Answers questions, manages expectations and acceptance criterion, and fosters customer relationships throughout the design process.
  • Partners with purchasing and internal shops to order parts for on time delivery.
  • Organizes and facilitates Engineering Cross Review to assess and ensure design meets the needs of the customer and company.
  • Interprets safety codes so that equipment meets specifications on every design.
  • Conducts meetings to gain customer approval of all specifications prior to manufacturing.
  • Creates test run-off document, post run-off punch list, and conducts customer run-off acceptance meeting.
