5-Gallon Pail Pumps

PVA offers complete pump systems to extrude high viscosity fluids from 5-gallon (20 liter) pails, under high pressures to a dispense applicator or metering system. Compatible with RTVs, silicones, and UV cure maskants, each complete pump system is custom configured and built to order.

Standard pump systems are constructed of carbon steel with a 20:1 ratio pump motor. Stainless steel or carbon steel and ceramic constructions are available for chemical compatibility or resistance to abrasive fillers.

Pumps are mounted to a pneumatic lift with a single lip follower plate to contact the fluid and wipe the sidewalls of the pail as the fluid is extruded. Fluid filters are incorporated to remove cured material and high pressure fluid regulators are used to eliminate pressure fluctuations from the pump and provide a steady flow of fluid to the dispense head.

Complete systems are supplied with all necessary fluid and air fittings and high pressure hoses. Optional equipment additions include:

  • PVA-OP-11-P low level sensor
  • PVA-CROSS-A dual pump auto crossover system

The dam can be applied as a single or multi-layer bead depending on the target fill height required.
